Families First
Every decision starts with what's best for children and the parents raising them, not advertisers and not engagement metrics.

About
Mohallah exists because Muslim children deserve a digital place that feels like home, and parents deserve one they can trust.
Mohallah is a digital neighbourhood where Muslim children can play, explore, create, and grow together. It is built for children aged 4 to 11, and for the parents raising them.
A small number of promises we intend to keep.
Every decision starts with what's best for children and the parents raising them, not advertisers and not engagement metrics.
Games should entertain, teach, and inspire. They should invite children to imagine, build, cooperate, and grow. They should never manipulate their attention.
Parents own the account, the purchases, the privacy settings, and the family's data.
We collect only what we need, prefer anonymous and aggregate data, build no advertising profiles, and never sell personal information. Your family is never the product.
Muslim identity shows up naturally in familiar names, places, celebrations, values, and stories.
Mohallah is created by Mangla & Co LLC, an independent studio in Virginia building games that help Muslim children grow through play.
Behind the studio are husband-and-wife team Moeed Ahmad and Krystina Derrickson, and their blended family of five kids. Despite their best intentions as parents, they realised that some degree of screen time is unavoidable today, and were frustrated by a meaningless and potentially harmful gaming ecosystem. They wanted an option for Muslim families that not only feels trustworthy and safe, but which also fosters a sense of belonging within a diverse global community, an ummah that spans time and space.
Moeed and Krystina hope that their kids, and yours, feel at home in the towns and cities from across the Muslim world, and that Mohallah supports and strengthens their Muslim identity.
